个人简介:

乔世璋教授在天津大学化工系获得学士和硕士学位,香港科技大学获得博士学位。曾在新加坡南洋理工大学任研究员,澳大利亚昆士兰大学先后任博士后、研究员、高级研究员及副教授。现为澳大利亚阿德莱德大学化工学院纳米技术首席教授, 昆士兰大学荣誉教授。

乔世璋教授在硅、碳、金属氧化物孔材料、纳米颗粒合成及其在生物分离、催化、燃料电池、锂电池研究领域取得了令人瞩目的成绩。作为通讯联系人,在《自然》、《美国化学会志》、《德国应用化学》、《先进材料》等期刊发表超过一百四十篇论文,引用超过3500次,拥有3项国际专利。近五年,其研究获得澳大利亚研究理事会等四百多万澳元的资助,他先后被授予昆士兰大学研究最高奖(Foundation Research Excellence Award),澳大利亚研究理事会研究员奖和昆士兰大学中青年研究员奖。2010年获得中国国家海外及港澳合作基金。

阿德莱德大学是澳大利亚顶尖的八所大学之一(Group 8),乔世璋教授领导着一个由三名博士后,一名访问学者和五名博士生组成的研究团队,与美国、加拿大、新加坡、澳大利亚、中国等国家的科学家建立了广泛的研究合作。

作为会议主席,乔世璋教授正筹办2013245届美国化学会中的《催化能源储存和转化》分会。
