题目:  Transition Metal Based Phosphors with Novel Chromophoric Chelate(s)

摘要:

Luminescent Os(II), Ir(III) and Pt(II) metal complexes, particularly those with chelating cyclometalates, play a key role in the recent development of optoelectronic technologies such as organic light emitting diode (OLED). The attraction of these complexes comes from their higher chemical stability due to the strong metal-ligand bonding interaction, as well as the longer excitation lifetimes and higher emission quantum yields. As a result, syntheses of these metal complexes bearing cyclometalate and relevant chromophoric chleates were extensively examined. In this presentation, the development of new phosphorescent metal complexes, particularly those constructed with functionalized pyridyl azolate, biazolate and 2,6-dipyrazolyl pyridine fragments, will be elaborated in a systematic manner.

 

 

 

 

简介:

季昀教授於1986年在美国获得博士学位。1987年獲聘為清華大學化學系教授。季昀教授為有機金屬化學專家,長期從事有機金屬化合物的合成、化學氣相沈積等研究。過去數年從事多項高效率、第三列過渡金屬磷光材料的研發,例如:含鉑、銥、鋨、釕為中心原子、高效率的藍、綠、紅三色磷光材料的設計與合成。獲得突破性的成果計有:發表有關新型藍色磷光OLED材料的製作論文 (Adv. Mater.2005, 17, 285) 與探討磷光OLED材料的回顧論文 (Chem. Eur. J. 2007, 13, 380),此兩項論文均享有超過兩百餘次的被引用次數,廣受國際學界重視。除此以外,教授亦獲有將近10項台灣與美國的新型OLED材料專利,這些系列技術雖未能受國際大廠購買使用,但已獲有日本、美國與歐洲的部份業界單位邀約,盼提供相關材料作為前期測試使用,目地是要尋求高效率、長壽命的顯示器元件組合。顯見教授團隊的研究成果已獲國際同儕高度肯定,並創造出罕見的研究佳績
