摘要

Link?ping University (LiU) is a relative young university in Sweden, but it has been know with excellence and a strong tradition of interdisciplinarity and innovation in research and education. In the latest published QS world university ranking 2016-2017, LiU is the 21st world’s top universities under 50 years old. Materials science is the priority research area in LiU, which is mainly carrying on at the department of physics, chemistry and biology (IFM), a distinct infrastructure of collaboration across boundaries for interdisciplinary research. In this talk, I will first give an introduction about LiU, IFM, and the connecting master education program in materials science and nanotechnology (MSN) - from the organization to operation. A survey of research activities on various materials and technological applications will then be followed, especially topics relating to surface modification and 2-dimensional materials (hard coatings, grapheme, MXenes), sensor devices and molecular materials/devices (chemical and bio-sensors, organic PVs, smart window coating), and semiconductor and functional materials for electronic and energy applications (including III-N, SiC, ScN, MAX-phase materials), etc., in order to facilitate the discussion for interests and possible collaborations in future. 

 

简介

倪衛新,瑞典林雪平大学(Link?pings UniversitetLiU) 表面及半导体物理学教授,并负责LiU的材料科学与奈米技术碩士学程(MSN);亦是台湾国立交通大学电子工程特聘兼任教授和TSMC (台基电)杰出教授称号及奖金获得者;2004-2008年期間受聘于台湾国家实验威尼斯人游戏网站(NARL),任副院長及国家奈米元件实验室(NDL)主任。倪教授一直专注於硅基异质结构材料和元件应用方面的研究,1987研究生工作期間即在Link?ping与美国IBMBell实验室同期制成了世界最早的硅鍺异质結晶体管(SiGe-HBT),相关论文曾入选美国电化学学会和材料科学学会的研究生獎。研究工作与歐洲和美国的大学及重要工业集团(EricssonABBPhilips) 有广泛的合作。在Physical Review  Applied Physics letters等主导刊物发表了逾150篇学术论文,及多章學术专著,数十次在国际学术会议上作特邀报告。曾是国际半导体产业蓝图( ITRS roadmap) “前瞻性元件与材料”章节工作組成员,IEEE Transaction on Nanotechnology編委,欧洲多個国家及台湾科技部研究计划的评审委员,台湾国家型奈米研究计划第二期六個分項策划組之一的负责人。曾多次担任領域主要国际会议主席,是多個国际学术系列会议的指导或程序委員会成員。
