Jun Zhong (Professor):


He received his B.E. degree from Tsinghua University in 2002, and his PhD degree in 2007 from the Institute of High Energy Physics, CAS. He was a research scholar in 2006-2007 at ALS, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He became a research scientist in 2008 at the Institute of High Energy Physics and joined Soochow University as an associate professor in 2010. He became a full professor in 2017.


Research Interests:

His research interests focus on the investigation of energy-related nanomaterials with synchrotron radiation techniques. (1) Carbon-based nanomaterials as catalysts. (2) Advanced metal oxide materials for solar water splitting. (3) Developing in-situ instruments for gas/liquid synchrotron radiation based X-ray experiments
